Pai indorau

I propose this old recipe of the Sardinian tradition. Poor ingredients, easy to prepare it and delicious to the palate. As you can see the list of ingredients there are no the exact quantities, this because the preparation was normally "a ogu" or "to eye" in the past.
It 'a great dessert, and I recommend you try it for these days of Carnival.

Ingredients:

stale home bread to taste
milk to taste
3 eggs
extra virgin olive oil
sugar

.............................

Cut the bread into thick slices about a centimetre. Pass the bread in milk and then in the beaten egg. In a pan with hot oil let fry the bread until them are golden. Carefully dry the greasy of fried food and sprinkle the bread with some sugar.
Serve hot on the table.
